Rund um die Südtiroler Landeshauptstadt Bozen finden sich zahlreiche schmucke Schlösser, kleine Burgen und herrschaftliche Ansitze. Sechs von ihnen bieten im Rahmen der Castelronda von 9. bis 10. Juni 2018 ein besonderes Erlebnisprogramm, das zu einer Reise durch die Zeit – vom Mittelalter bis heute – einlädt.

Im MMM Firmian auf Schloss Sigmundskron bei Bozen begrüßt die Südtiroler Bergsteigerlegende Reinhold Messner die Gäste. udem werden mehrere Sonderführungen geboten. Kostenlose Besichtigungen mit unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkten für große und kleine Besucher gibt es auch auf Schloss Moos-Schulthaus in Eppan/Berg, im Schloss Maretsch in Bozen und in der Trostburg bei Waidbruck.

Schloss Boymont bei Eppan veranstaltet anlässlich der Castelronda eine Weinverkostung, geführte Wanderungen und ein Naturabenteuer für Kinder. Nicht zu vergessen Schloss Runkelstein am Eingang zum Sarntal. Die bekannte Bilderburg erzählt die abenteuerliche Geschichte von König Artus und seinen Recken und bietet außerdem Initiativen für Kinder und Workshops.
An den Veranstaltungstagen erreichen Sie einige der teilnehmenden Burgen auch per Shuttledienst, ein Stück des Weges ist zum Teil zu Fuß zurückzulegen.
